PRESS STATEMENT: Nur Jazlan dropped from IDEAS Council upon becoming Deputy Minister

28 July 2015, Kuala Lumpur – Following YB Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Mohamed’s acceptance of the post of Deputy Minister for Home Affairs, YAM Tunku ‘Abidin Muhriz, IDEAS President issued the following statement:

“The IDEAS Council met today, chaired by YABhg Tun Mohamed Dzaiddin bin Haji Abdullah. We resolved that YB Datuk Nur Jazlan be dropped from the IDEAS Council effective immediately, since he is now part of the Executive. We would like to thank him for his service and support, and we wish him good luck with his new and challenging position.”
