LIBERALISM AS A FORCE AGAINST RACISM - THE SOUTH AFRICAN EXPERIENCE (3)

Mmusi Maimane is the first black leader of South African’s opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) and the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly of South Africa. He was formerly the DA’s Deputy Federal Chairperson, DA National Spokesperson and the Leader of the DA Caucus in the City of Johannesburg Municipal Council.

The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) is proud to host Mr Maimane in Kuala Lumpur on 3rd December as he speaks on “Liberalism as a force against racism : The South African experience”

The commentary on Mr Maimane’s speech will be delivered by Dr Lee Hwok Aun, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Development Studies at the Faculty of Economics and Administration from Universiti Malaya.
