Commenting on the event, IDEAS Chief Executive Wan Saiful Wan Jan said:

“We are very happy the famous Spurs football club agreed to help raise money for our charity project to help autistic children from the bottom 40percent families. The IDEAS Autism Centre is in Rawang and we are now helping 30 children there.”

“Tottenham Hotspurs players Ryan Mason and Andros Townsend made roti canai and teh tarik for auction. And there were among other items also official merchandise, including tickets to the Tottenham Hotspurs vs Malaysia football match, signed Tottenham Hotspurs jerseys and pre-match stadium and dress room tours, which were bid for by the fans. In total, Spurs helped us raise RM 7,000 which was gratefully received by Tricia Yeoh, Chief Operating Officer of IDEAS and Chair of the IAC Board of Governors.”

“I would like to thank Spurs’ fans in Malaysia and the Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club for this generous contribution. This is a much needed donation to us and to the autistic children. I also want to wish the Spurs the best of luck in their next season.”
